The camp maintenance worker is responsible for ensuring all camp facilities, grounds, and equipment are safe, clean and functional.  Key responsibilities include performing repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical), groundskeeping (mowing, cleaning),  waste management and adhering to safety protocols.  They prepare sites for arrivals, maintain tools, and support general camp operations

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs including carpentry, painting, and basic electrical/plumbing work.
• General handyman repair work around the camp site
• Assist with mechanical issues such as heating/plumbing and electrical
• Ensure camp walkways are clear of debris and snow
• Maintain campsite grounds and areas
• Regularly inspect grounds to identify and fix hazards, manage safety equipment and ensure buildings are secure
• Clean common areas, cabins, and restrooms, and manage garbage removal
• Other duties as may be required

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in general maintenance or similar job
• Knowledge in using hand and power tools; ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and spend long hours outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid First Aid /CPR-C will be an asset

• Capable of standing for long periods
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects 50+lbs
• Bending, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch
• Work with chemicals
• Handle manual tasks
